Shall I remove the protective film on the solar panel?

It’s quite often to see the protective films on the solar panels (of the solar garden lights). And some consumers have this kind of doubts --- Shall we remove the protective films on the solar panels?   The answer is yes.  In fact, the protective films are just for the use of protecting the solar panels during packing and transit. You should remove it from the solar panel before using the solar lights, in order to make the solar panel receiving maximum sun power charging.

How to remove the protective film on the solar panel?

Very easy and simple, just take the solar lights from the package, and use your fingers to peel the film off from the solar panel. Sometimes if the protective film is very tight on the solar panel, you might need a pair of tweezers to help you.

Shall I turn on the switch of the solar lights?

Yes, when you use the solar lights, you should turn on the switch firstly.  Some solar lights are with “slide” switches, some are with “push” switches, and some are with “pull tab” switches.

Where should we place the solar lights?

Please make sure your solar lights should be placed wherever they could receive the maximum sunshine, and it’ll be ideal if the solar lights could receive the sunshine from the early morning till the late afternoon. 1. You might did not turn on the solar lights. Please check the switches;

2. The solar lights might be kept in the warehouse for quite a long period, and the batteries are nearly out of power.  Therefore you need to keep the solar lights in the sunshine for a few hours firstly;

3. Please check the batteries compartment, the contact might get loose.
